Hi I'm Claire,

 

Thanks for taking the time to look at my website,

 

I've always loved to paint and design from an early age and this really is my dream job.  

I studied Surface Pattern Design at Huddersfield University and thats where my journey into design started.

After working for a number of Design Studios I set up on my own in 2003.  I have even more passion now for creating designs and seeing them on products.
​
My designs are very commercial and I'm known in the industry for being hard working and that all my design originate from my own hand painted artwork.  I follow the trends but also have so many of my own ideas.  Everything I see is inspiration.
​
My love of birds and nature can be seen in my designs. My other influences are my favourite artist Gustav Klimt and my love of oriental paintings.

​

I have invested in AVA CAD CAM so all designs are colour separated ready to print digitally.  I love scanning in my artwork and the creating the designs.

​

I am very passionate in design and love to see my artwork on the final product.  I enjoy working with my customers to develop their new ranges and collections.  Im lucky to work with the lots of great bedding, curtain and wallpaper manufactures and retailers.  Both here in the UK and abroad.

​

I exhibit at Heimtex, Frankfurt and Maison & Objet Paris each year.

 

I'm also a proud single Mum to my fourteen year old son Ethan and Cat Mum to Olive.  Proud to be a cat lady! ha
